The people from different walks of life and Islamabad Bar Association (IBA) on Thursday staged rallies to express solidarity with Pakistan Armed Forces and denounce Indian aggression. A large number of people including men and women, lawyers and activists of religious and political parties gathered in front of National Press Club to show solidarity with Armed Forces after Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down two Indian military aircraft.

Heavy contingents of police were deployed on the occasion to avert any untoward incident. The people were holding national flag and placards and banners against Indian government. They chanted slogans in support of Pakistan Army. The charged lawyers led by President District Bar Association Chaudhry Khanzada marched from Shuhada Hall to main gate of District Courts.

They chanted slogans to condemn India for violating the Pakistan's airspace. They renewed the support to the Armed Forces and lauded the Pakistan Air Force for giving a befitting response to India by downing its jet fighters. Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhry Khanzada said, "We are standing by Pakistan Army in the current situation. We pay tributes to Pakistan Army for strategic achievement."

He said that Pakistan is a peaceful country and Pak Army knows how to defend its boarders. He said that legal fraternity and entire nation stand by the army and no effort would be spared to defend the country.
